Frequently Asked Questions

What is Emsculpt?

Emsculpt is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to induce muscle contractions. These contractions are more intense than those your muscles can achieve through voluntary exercise, leading to increased muscle mass and fat reduction

How does Emsculpt work?

Emsculpt works by delivering electromagnetic energy to the targeted area, causing muscles to contract at a supermaximal level. These intense contractions force the muscle tissue to adapt, resulting in muscle building and fat burning.   What to Expect During Treatment 1. Consultation: A thorough consultation with your provider to discuss your goals and determine if Emsculpt is right for you. 2. Preparation: You will lie down while the applicators are positioned on the treatment area. 3. Treatment: You will feel intense muscle contractions, similar to a workout, but there is no pain. Some patients describe it as a "pulling" sensation. 4. Post-Treatment: You can return to your normal activities immediately. There may be some muscle soreness, similar to what you might feel after an intense workout.
